Sara Ann Caton LaFoy Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Mae Hullender Caton and Ralph Wesley Caton; her husband Ernest "Mose" LaFoy; and her brother Ralph Wesley Caton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, William Scott LaFoy (Jonnie) and Leslie Griffin (Ken); her grandchildren, Molly Murphy, Sara Doyle (Ian), George Griffin, William Scott LaFoy Jr. (Ning) and Emma LaFoy Marion (Yohan); and her great grandchild Felix Doyle.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Central United Methodist Church (30 Union St N, Concord, NC 28025). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Central United Methodist Church-Coltrane Memorial Room (30 Union St N, Concord, NC 28025).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central United Methodist Church Music Ministry or Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County—two communities that meant so much to Sally and supported her journey with love and compassion.
