She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Sloop and Lucille Phillips Sloop; her husband Everett Childers; her son Randy; and her grandson Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Robbie Ruffin (Mike), Alan (Theresa) and Todd (Christina). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkwood Baptist Church Building Fund or to Samaritan's Purse.
