She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McClure and Bessie "Louise" Brown McClure; her husband Vernon W. Yates; and her siblings, James McClure, Mary "Sis" Furr and David McClure.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Geddings, Scott Yates (Susan), Terri Llewellyn (Rusty) and Cindy Yates (Scott Plyler); and her sister Sue Deese (Jerry). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
