It is with sadness that the passing of Sharon Jo Barbee (Concord, North Carolina) is shared. Sharon, born on March 12, 1952 in Kannapolis, North Carolina, passed away on June 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Jack" Trenton Kerr and Lily Josephine Overcash Kerr; her husband Charles "Charlie" Martin Barbee; and her brother Bernie Kerr. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Barbee (Danielle) and Kevin Barbee (Hillary); her grandchildren, Emmaline-June, Miłosz, Caleb and Payton; her siblings, Jennie Kerr Dishman (Jim) and Floyd Kerr (Nelda); her sister-in-law JoAnn Kerr; her niece Natalie Kerr; and her nephews, Jeff Dishman (Debi) and Eric Dishman (Ashley).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alpha Delta Kappa Fidelis Kappa Chapter in memory of Sharon Barbee. The Sharon Barbee ADK Fidelis Kappa Altruistic Memorial Fund has been established, and donations may be mailed to 350 Dogwood Lane, Harrisburg, NC 28075.
