It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maness Johnson of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ed Maness; her husband Paige Rush Johnson; her siblings, Maybelline Lynthacum, Evelyine Bollinger, Clifton Maness, Janie Yarboro, Wilbert Maness and Billy Maness; and her son-in-law Tim Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Johnson (Donna) and Wanda J. Taylor of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Brian Taylor (Ashley) of Mt. Pleasant, Kris Taylor of Charlotte and Drake Johnson of Chapel Hill; her great grandchildren, Corbin Timothy Taylor, Tucker Rush Taylor and Maisey Jean Taylor; and her brother Mickey Maness (Eleanor) of Raleigh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
