It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Yow Penninger of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bucky Yow and Eula B Yow; and her brother Bucky David Yow. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Penninger; her daughters, Tammy Weddington (Chuck) and Angie Fleming; her grandchildren, Kacey Weddington, Mitch Weddington (Rachel) and Kayla Lester (Roger); and her great grandchildren, Karlee, Blakelee, Maggie, Walker, Jayce and Mason.
Memorials may be made to Roberta Church, Alzheimer's Association and Hospice of Cabarrus County.
