She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Henderson Whitley and Virginia Lucille Whitley; her husband Wade William Gray; her daughter Pamela Marie Callahan; her stepson William Gray; and her sisters, Doris "Dot" Klutz and Colleen Richards.
She is survived by: her sons, Wade H. Gray of Concord, NC and Wayne C. Gray of Concord, NC; her stepdaughters, Linda Eudy (Chuck) of Concord, NC and Betsy Bost of Concord, NC; her sister JoAnn Alexander of Charlotte, NC.; and her grandchildren, Jamie Shepker (Dave) of Mt. Holly, NC, Jennifer Hartman (Ronnie) of Concord, NC and Samantha Gray of Liberty, NC. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord (460 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park - Kannapolis (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), St. Jude's, or Operation Smile.
