It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia McDonald (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sylvia McDonald to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Hooks and Maggie Lee Hinson Hooks; and her son Brian Keith McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Leonard McDonald; her daughters, Dianne Cush (Dennis) of Concord and Stephanie Tucker (Michael) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Andrea Poteate, Jeremy Kissiah, Edgar Kissiah, Heather Marcinko, Chris Kissiah and Arianna Tucker; her great grandchildren, Sarah Poteate, Adam Kissiah, Alexis Kissiah, Lilly Martin, Madisyn Marcinko, Alaina Marcinko and Hailey Kissiah; and her siblings, Nancy Lefler of Concord and Joe Hooks (Linda) of Rockwell.
