He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dale Irvin Sr. and Olga "Toots" Alyene Reynolds Irvin; his brother Donald Dale Irvin Jr.; and his nephew Darren Irvin. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Poplin Irvin; his son Derek Irvin (Sara); his sister Lisa Hendley (Ben); his niece Dana Hefner (Jason); his nephew Drew Hendley (Mary); and his grandchildren, Greyson and Noah.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gilwood Presbyterian Church (2993 Odell School Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Care A Lot Adult Daycare, located at 1753 Old Earnhardt Rd Kannapolis, NC 28083.
