With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Franklin Joyner (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Martha Mae Green Joyner; and his sister Carolyn Eury. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gamble Joyner; his children, Keith Thomas Joyner (Carolyn) of Concord and Susan J. Furr (Bryant) of Mt. Pleasant; his brothers, Ted Joyner (Dollie), Darrell Joyner (Brenda) and Langley Joyner (Debbie); his grandchildren, Michael Thomas Carter, Tyler Carter, Ivy Triantis, Brandon Joyner, Sam Helms and William Smith; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Kade and Brayleigh Carter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 5340 Flowes Store Road, Concord NC 28025 or to Allen VFD, 4000 US HWY 601S, Concord NC 28025.
