He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton Deese Sr. and Molevia Mungo Deese; and his wife Jewel Helms Deese. He is survived by: his siblings, Randy Deese and Carolyn Thornton; his children, Michael Deese (Cindi), Dawn Young (Al), John Deese (Shemika), Terry Stroud, Jenny Kearns (Garry), Chuck Morgan (Susan), Julie Morgan and Jo Lynn Hamilin; his grandchildren, Star Deese (Romelo House), Skye Young, Jaheim Deese, Malaysia Deese, Mallory Deese, Josh Deese, Matthew, Derek, Jessica Sheilds (Rion), Joycelynn Hamlin, Colin Myers (Dennise), Molly Morgan, Emily Kearns, Ashley Kearns, Courtney Harris and Trey Hamlin; and his great grandchild Hayes House.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wade's honor to The Mount Pleasant House in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina.
