He was predeceased by: his father John Godbey. He is survived by: his mother Ledeen Jordan Godbey of Concord; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Stillwell Godbey of Concord, NC; his siblings, Kay Carter (Jerry) of Mt. Pleasant, Brenda Crews (Wayne), Patsy Helper (Robert) of Concord, NC and Gene Godbey (Kathy); and his close friend Tony Stillwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
