With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Goodspeed (Concord, North Carolina), born in Gouverneur, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Goodspeed; his son Peter Goodspeed, Jr.; his mother Mazie Goodspeed; and his brother Robert "Buster" Gibson. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Goodspeed and Amy Hutchings (Patrick); his daughter-in-law Jo Anne Goodspeed; his granddaughters, Sara, Carissa, Emma, Carly, Allison and Addison; and his sisters, Shirley Coe (Don) and Frances Leppard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
