He is survived by: his wife Ann Dawson; his children, Holly Owens (Paul) and William Owen Dawson of Charlotte; his stepchildren, Leigh Ann Love, Michelle Snider-Smith and Tracy Snider (Michell); his grandchildren, Chelsea Ingram, Caroline Owens, Ashlee Little, Katelyn Waugh (Trey), Emily Lee (Donovan), Maggie Williams (Branden), Meeka Snider, Bradley Crim and Heydon Smith (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Trey, Chaney Kate, Corbyn, Rayna Little, Kyler, Jayden, Kash Whitley, Blake Furr, Kamlyn, Jackson, Evie Waugh, Kade, Dax Lee, Liam, Greyson and Ryleigh Smith; his cousin Martha Bowles (Harry) of Corinth, Mississippi; his sister-in-law Ann Simmons Dawson of Starkville, Mississippi; and his nephews, Eric, Charlie and Taylor Dawson.
