He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith and Mildred Smith; and his granddaughter Madeline Protheroe. He is survived by: his wife Betty Elaine Mumford Smith; his children, Keith Smith, Seth Smith (Carla) and Melissa Smith; and his granddaughters, Ava Smith, Lila Smith and Peyton Protheroe.
