He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Dickerson and Eleanor Dickerson; his son George Odom; his sister Jeannie Crabtree; and his grandchildren, Eric and Tera.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Odom Dickerson; his children, Wanda Miller (Quentin) of Fayetteville, Kimberly Everette (Ronnie) of Conetoe and Terry Dickerson (Nan) of Katy, Texas; his siblings, Dan Dickerson (Bev) of Arizona and Lee Dickerson (Roni) of Michigan; and his grandchildren, Chrystal, Cody, Jessica, Brandon, Hope, Trent and Hunter.
