She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Nellie Shelton Brown; her husband Cecil Phillips; and her siblings, Bertie Brown, James Grant Brown and Bob Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Phillips (Julie Paxton) of Connelly Springs, Steven Phillips (Shawntae Wheeler) of Morganton and Kenneth Phillips of Connelly Springs; her grandson Keith Phillips; and her brothers, Wayne Brown (Wanda) of Creston and Tom Mains of Wilkesboro.
