He is survived by: his children, Bobby L. Hefner, Jr. (Jessica) of Hiddenite, Donna H. Sigmon (Terry) of Conover and Sharon H. Smith (Shannon) of Claremont; his siblings, James "Jake" Hefner of Claremont and Shirley Hefner Scronce of Maiden; his grandchildren, Whitney S. Terry (Ryan), Nathan S. Gouge, Adyson V. Daniels, Haydan L. Gouge, Cayson F. Hefner and Payton D. Hefner; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Terry and Baby Allie Terry.
