With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel MacK Andrews (Conover, North Carolina), who passed away on July 3, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Andrews and Mary Andrews of Sparta; his brother Benny Andrews; his son Mark Andrews; and his brother-in-law Alton Register.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Andrews, Mary Ellen Andrews, Andy Watts and Justin Andrews; his siblings, Linda Thomas (Russell) of Winston Salem, N. C, Beverly Register of Conover, N. C, Maxine Sparks (Billy) of Winston Salem, N. C., Steve Andrews (Susan) of Yadkinville, N. C, Darin Andrews (Beth) of Bladenboro, Randy Andrews (Lisa) of Elizabethtown and Danny; and his aunts, Betty Ferguson of Philippi and Kay Fresconi of New Castle Del. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, friends.

“I knew Danny "Chief" through my husband. Kenneth worked with him years ago and still speaks of him daily. Chief was not only his coworker, friend, mentor, father figure but most of all he was his "HERO". He will be missed greatly but never forgotten for a as long as his name is spoken he shall be remember and live on through our stories. May you and your family have comfort in this time of loss.
