Danny Eugene Lay Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Eugene Lay of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Eugene and Lois Withers Lay. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Barnes Lay; his children, Christie Lay Huffman and Clint Eugene Lay; his grandchildren, Jason Lamb (Zoe), Jordan Huffman, Carrigan Lay and Ethan Lay; his great grandchild Michaela Joy Lamb; his sisters, Cynthia Wallace, Becky Deese (David) and Kim Barus (Johnny); and his uncle Bud Withers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
