With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Stephens of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Granzia Stephens and Ruby Wilkie Stephens; and his siblings, Terry Stephens, Patty Mosteller, Betty Bailey and Joan Mace.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Reed Stephens; his children, Ronnie Stephens (Debbie) of Hickory, Michael Stephens (Cami) of Catawba and Becky Barnes (Warren) of Newton; his sister Teressa Icard (Robert) of Rutherford College; his grandchildren, Erik Barnes (Laura), Tabatha Martin (Tony), Erin Adams (Shawn), David Stephens (Tabitha) and Kelia Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Barnes, Madison Barnes, Logan Barnes, Anderson Barnes, Brooklyn Barnes, Emma Adams, Caleb Adams, Aubree Adams, Chloe Martin, Colby Stephens and Andrew Stephens.
