Dessie Belle Ballard Allman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dessie Belle Ballard Allman of Conover, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ballard and Della McClain Ballard; her husband Birch Alexander Allman (Bud); and her brothers, Coley, Norman and James Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Renee Allman and Terry Alexander Allman; her grandson Benjamin Allman; her great grandchildren, Brady Allman and Natalie Allman; her son Michael Allman; and her brothers, Toy and Curley Ballard.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Drum Funeral Home Chapel (509 1st Ave S, Conover, NC 28613). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
