He was predeceased by: his parents, Tollie Monroe and Johnnie Williams Hedrick; his son Coleman Brent Hedrick; and his siblings, Jannette Rector and Kenneth Hedrick.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bollinger Hedrick; his sister Annette Hollar; his children, David Philip Hedrick (Vickie L. Hedrick) and Patti H Daniels (Don W. Daniels); his grandchildren, Christina Hedrick and Michael Smevog; his great grandchildren, Michael McGee (Kaycee McGee), Ethan Lail, Juliana M. Smevog and Jocelyn J. Smevog; and his great great grandchildren, Natalie and Genevieve.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Conover (410 1st Ave N, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
