He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Tyndall and Mattie Hall Tyndall; his wife Ruth Jonas Tyndall; and his siblings, James Tyndall, Alease McDonald, Lucille Bass, Pauline Smith, Nellie Darden, Thelma Hair and Judy Faircloth.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lisa Woodring (Jimmy), Kristi Ward (Wayne), Wesley Auton and Jody Friend. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
