With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Dula McKeever of Conover, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Dula, Sr. and Inez Derr Dula; her husband Prentis McKeever; her siblings, Johnny Dula, Joe Dula, Jr. and Peggy Hopper; and her granddaughter Deidra Ramseur.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa Rippy (Kevin) of Conover and Preston Payne; her brother Melvin Dula (Sherry) of Claremont; her grandchildren, Latara Ramseur, Rudolph Ramseur, Michael Connor, Angela Payne and David Payne; her nephew Johnny Hopper; and her close friend Benita Solomon.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Greater Shekinah Glory Fellowship (3066 S Hwy 127, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
