He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Clyde White and Etha May Clontz White; his brothers, T. C. White and Donald White; and his children, Pamela Kay White King and Terry Ray White.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ralph Edward White and Helen Mae White Sigmon; his children, Lori White Conner (Roger), Lisa White Barnett (Troy) and Randy Allen White (Teresa); his grandchildren, Athena Lineberger, Cassidy Ramsey (Donnie), Brooke Wagner (Joseph), Alex Conner, Kristin St. Louis (Camron), Ashley Miller (Davis), Megan Barnett, Amber White and Brooke White; and his stepdaughters, Deborah Moretz and Anita Liner. He is also survived by his 9 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Catawba Funeral Home Chapel (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Final Resting Place Catawba Memorial Park (3010 US Hwy 70 SE, Newton, NC 28602).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springs of Catawba in Floyd's name.
