He is survived by: his children, Michael Shook (Denise) of Conover and Donna Houston (Michael Watson) of Conover; his sisters, Bobbie Sue Chandler of Claremont and Judy Kay Moose of Troutman; his grandchildren, Garrett Huffman (Charity) of Taylorsville, Dustin Huffman (Jillian) of Charlotte and Candice Kane (Tim) of Monroe; and his great grandchildren, Sylvie Huffman, Asher Humphries, Elijah Kane and Luke Kane.
