She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shriver and Corinne Stoner Shriver; and her brother-in-law Earl Adkins. She is survived by: her husband James "Rudy" Roberts; her sons, Ricky "Rick" Roberts (Susan) of Harrisburg, NC and Michael "Mike" Roberts (Mary-Louise) of Boone, NC.; her siblings, Buck Shriver (Charlotte) of Covington, GA, Ralph Shriver (Michaele) and Harriette Adkins of Southerlin, VA.; her grandchildren, Meredith Glanton (Darryl), Justin Roberts (Erin) and Julia Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Preston Glanton, Carson Glanton and Jack Roberts.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (725 W 13th St, Newton, NC 28658).
