He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Carson and Byrlea Bumgarner Killian; his siblings, Howard Killian, Sam Killian, Dwight Killian (Betty), Steve Killian and Judy Wilson (Bill); his stepson Curtis Gragg; and his stepgrandson Dallas Gragg.
He is survived by: his significant other Jane Gragg Morrison; his sons, David Killian (Sherry) and Mark Killian (Teresa); his stepson Ritchie Gragg (Teresa); his grandchildren, Faith Killian, Grace Killian, Heather Letterman, Alexander Letterman (Brittany), Anita Boyles (Kevin), Tyler Gragg, Timothy Gragg, Cody Gragg and Chris Gragg (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Travis Gragg, Abby Gragg, Alexis Dennis, Kinslee Letterman, Gavin Boyles, Curtis Gragg, Ansleigh Gragg, Landon Gragg and Mason Gragg; his brother Robert Killian (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Annie Killian, Dot Killian and Phyllis Killian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Newton in Jerry's name.
