It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jodi Margaret Thies Black of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jack Thies and Joyce Flake Thies of Snead's Ferry, NC.; her husband Clint Black; her daughters, Trinity of Charlotte, NC and Bethany Black of Charlotte, NC; her sisters, Jennifer Thies (Alan) of Arvonia, VA and Jinger Guerrette (Josh) of Chapel Hill, NC; her nieces, Zoë and Ivy; and her nephew Sam. She is also survived by godchildren, bonus children.
