She is survived by: her husband Wayne Allen Eckard; her children, Dennis Wayne Eckard (Sarah) of Winston Salem, Smiley Allen Eckard (Frankie) of Conover, Rusty Bryan Eckard (Karen) of Conover and Amy Eckard Hicks (Marc) of Taylorsville; her brother Jerry Lee Lail of Conover; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Gabe, Grace, Jesse, Seth, Austin, Matt, Adam and Cassie.
