She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Henry Lail and Gracie Lenora Sipe Lail; and her sister-in-law Frances Lail. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Allen Eckard; her children, Dennis Wayne Eckard (Sarah) of Winston Salem, Smiley Allen Eckard (Frankie) of Conover, Rusty Bryan Eckard (Karen) of Conover and Amy Eckard Hicks (Marc) of Taylorsville; her brother Jerry Lee Lail of Conover; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Gabe, Grace, Jesse, Seth, Austin, Matt, Adam and Cassie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church (4420 County Home Rd, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
