She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Mills and Alpha Mills; her husband Joe F. McCaslin Sr.; the father of her children William Buddy Fleming; her siblings, Eugene Mills, Samuel Mills, Sue Large, Cathy Fleming and Betty Mullins; and also Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Mullins (Larry) of Clintwood, VA, Michael Fleming of Lenoir and Wendi Fleming of Conover; her grandchildren, Samantha Graham, Jessica Mateyunas, Stefanie Mullins, Kellie Cael, Konner Rothrock, Josh Mullins and Michael Fleming II; and her sibling's children, Greg Mills of Pompano, FL, Sandy Mullins of Kingsport, TN and Robbie Fleming of Clintwood, VA. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel (4081 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
