It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lou Baker of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Webster and Mary Elizabeth Darnell Teague; her husband Jerry Allen Baker; and her siblings, Gene Teague, Channon Teague, Robert F. Teague, Joe Teague and Vera Sheets.

She is survived by: her children, Allen Shay Baker of Conover and Jerri Alice Baker Carter (Jason) of Conover; her siblings, Aaron Teague of Hickory, Wilma Wilson of Hickory and Brenda Cunningham; and her grandchildren, Kristin Baker Clink, Allen Shay Baker, Jr., Maggie Lou Alice Carter and Mary Elizabeth Lucille Carter.
