We bid farewell to Martha Jean Wallace Sigmon of Conover, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2025 at the age of 94. Martha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Eugene Wallace and Mamie Etta Shook Wallace; her husband Hugh Gaither Sigmon; her children, Judy Sigmon Little and Hugh David Sigmon; her grandsons, James C. Thomas and Patrick M. Eidson; her brothers, Ezra Wallace, Junior Wallace and Tom Wallace; and her son-in-law Billy L. Little.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Sigmon of Conover, Teresa Bailey (Danny) of Coral Springs, FL and Stacy Helton (Rick) of Conover; her sister Flossie Blackburn of Newton; her grandchildren, Joanna Huffman (Jason), Paul Carpenter (Angie), John McQueen (Jennifer), Brad Bailey (Amanda), Angie Thomas, Stephanie Anderson (Steve), Sean Sigmon (Catherine), Jessica Spain (Jeff), Bryan Sigmon, Suzanne Finlayson (Jay), Jordan Eidson (Patrick), Jillian Helton (Justin) and Krissy Clontz (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Drew Huffman, Jake Huffman, Taylor Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Kinsley McQueen, Kiley McQueen, Sam Anderson, Nick Anderson, Julian Lanegra, Quincey Spain, Ocean Spain, Madelyn Birchfield, Luke Eidson, Hannah Clontz, Hunter Clontz and Haden Clontz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ (217 2nd Ave NE, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
