She is survived by: her children, Shannon Deal of Newton, Patrick Plunkett (Sharon) of Hubert, NC and Meg Lynn (Don) of Charlotte; her children-in-law, Kevin Barnhill of Concord, Johnny Lowe of Conover and Shelia Plunkett of New Bern, NC.; and her grandchildren, Caytlin Coffey (Michael) of Columbus, GA, Caleb Deal of Hickory, Kaylee Varner (Cody) of Sanford, Christopher Barnhill of Concord, Connor Barnhill of Concord, James Plunkett (Allison) of New Bern, NC, Ryan Plunkett of Hubert, Megan Cash of Hickory, Justin Cash of Hickory, David John Plunkett Jr. of Washington, DC and Jessica Plunkett Lasch (Scott) of Great Falls, MT. She is also survived by 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Burke Mortuary & Crematory of Newton (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel- Newton (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658).
