She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Gibson and Ellen Cobb Gibson Bell; her husband George Landon Gabrel; her brother James Paul "Buddy" Gibson; and her son Steven Britt Gabrel.
She is survived by: her son George Greg Gabrel (Hope) of Conover; and her grandchildren, George Ryan Gabrel, Tiffany Grace Valenzuela and Michael Derrick Gabrel.
