He was predeceased by: his father Danny Simpson; and his grandparents, Rosalee Williams, Jimmy Dean Burris, Patsy and Bobby Simpson.

He is survived by: his mother Donna Burris Simpson of Conover; his children, Brooklyn Sky Simpson, Macie Grace Simpson of Nebo, NC and Jaydon Alexander Simpson of Nebo, NC; his sister Tabitha Warren (Ashley) of Asheville; his nephews, Demetrius of Asheville and Caden Warren of Asheville; and the mother of his children Tiffany Sisk of Nebo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
