As Rickey departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rickey. Though Rickey may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Warren Parker; his children, Christopher Parker (Amanda) of Newton and Tracie Dellinger (Peter) of New York; his parent Ann Parker Hass of Hickory; his sister Becky Smith of Newton; and his grandchildren, Ciarra St. Arnold (Jonathon), Emma Parker and Seth Parker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Methodist Church of Conover (410 1st Ave N, Conover, NC 28613). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
