With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Eugene Lewis of Conover, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Lewis and Catherine Collier Lewis; and his former wife Mary Lue DeGolia Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stewart Lewis; his daughters, Mona Register (Charlie) and Paula Lewis; his granddaughter Idella Austin (Cordell); and his children, Taylor, Samantha, Sydney, Ethan, Sondra Simmons (Michael), Andrew, Stewart, Bobbi Ann Rector, Luke, Noah, Reagan and Ravin.
