Ruth Merlene Tyndall Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Merlene Tyndall of Conover, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Butler Stephenson Jonas and Effie Ellen Bentley Jonas. She is survived by: her husband Earl Tyndall; her children, Wesley Auton, Lisa Woodring (Jimmy), Kristi Ward (Wayne) and Jody Friend; and her sister Faye Jonas (Randy Roether). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Friendly Baptist Church (564 Friendly Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
