It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirlene Tallent Hipp (Conover, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Houser and Wilma Sain Houser; her husband Don Hipp; her son Samuel Robin Tallent; her sisters, Lou Brockman, Margaret Jenks and Rhonda Houser; her children, Niles Tallent and Vicky Leatherman; and her grandchildren, Bart Leatherman, Tyson Leatherman, Holly Kiser, William Tallent, Lily Tallent and Jessica Barber.

She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Kailyn Bowman, Ryder Bowman, Paisley Tallent, Jocelyn Barber, Mason Barber and Ridge Barber A.

Memorials may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1156 Northbrook 3 School Road, Vale, NC 28168.
