He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Buster" Henning Holland and Mary Shell Holland; and his brother Charles David Holland. He is survived by: his son Thomas "Hyder" Holland (Drinda Hensley) of Hickory; his granddaughter Zola Ilene Holland; his son Edwin James Holland (Lauren) of Concord; his grandchild Chesney James Holland; his brother Richard "Ricky" Henning Holland (Robin); his siblings' child Abbey Holland Osborne (Caleb); and his sister Mary Catherine Holland.
