She is survived by: her husband Timothy Poovey; her children, Bryan Poovey (Jamie) of Newton and Amber Hicks (Alex) of Conover; her siblings, Joe McCaslin (Susie) of Newton and Shandra Black (Kenneth) of Hickory; her father-in-law Walter Poovey of Conover; her siblings-in-law, Gary Poovey of Newton and Candi Poovey of Conover; her grandchildren, Madilyn Culpepper, Easton Poovey and Swayde Hicks; her nieces and nephews, Adrian McCaslin, Allison Patton, Taylor Black Ortega and Jordan Black; and also Tim Hudson.
