Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward T. Howard and Wilma Lucille Craige Howard. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Arras Howard; his son David Howard (Deborah); his granddaughters, Lauryn Davidson (Matthew) and Emily Howard; and his great grandchild Lydia Rose Davidson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Stephen's Lutheran Church (2304 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
