He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny L. Reynolds and Rena Burkett; and his wife Clonnie Reynolds. He is survived by: his adoptive son Jimmy Nelson (Karen Nelson); and his caregiver Melissa Thompson (Keith Thompson). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (314 W Main St, Murfreesboro, NC 27855). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Conway Baptist Church (229 N Church St, Conway, NC 27820). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Conway Cemetery (229 N Church St, Conway, NC 27820).
