She is survived by: her children, Meghan Shoaf (Brandon) of Hertford, NC, James "Buddy" Boyce Hedgepeth, Jr. (Jenny) of Crumpler, NC, Alvin Hedgepeth (Jessica) of Conway, NC and Samantha Jones (Will) of Edenton, NC.; her grandchildren, Salter Shoaf, Savvy Shoaf, Lillian Hedgepeth, Clara Hedgepeth, Scarlett Hedgepeth, Boyce Hedgepeth, Kendall Hedgepeth, Skyler Hedgepeth, Thomas Hedgepeth, Franklin Jones, Folly Jones and Trotter Jones; and her sister Margo Sisson of Ashburn.
