Lonnie Ray Campbell Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lonnie Ray Campbell Sr. of Cooleemee, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Preston and Hattie Mae Goodwin Campbell; his wife Maryann Phillips Campbell; his son John Darrell Campbell, Sr.; his great grandchild Ali Reavis; his stepdaughter Donna Jean Willoughby; his sister Mary Lou Campbell Foster; and his brother-in-law Tommy Blackwelder.
He is survived by: his son Lonnie Ray "Scoot" Campbell Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Courtney Hope Campbell Reavis (James), Christopher Ryan Campbell (Shelton) and Tiffany Campbell Douglas; his great grandchildren, Ava, Kai Reavis, Darrelynn and Sophia Campbell; his stepson-in-law Larry Willoughby; his siblings, Brenda Blackwelder, Harold Campbell (Sharrie), Mike Campbell (Ellen) and Jerry Campbell; and his close friends, Ervin Link, Mark Shore and Glenda Barnhardt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren, and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Mocksville (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lambert Funeral Chapel (635 Wilkesboro St, Mocksville, NC 27028).
