With sadness, we share the passing of Dixie Faye Cashion of Cornelius, North Carolina. Dixie, born on May 3, 1943, passed away on August 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Richard Brown and Mary Anna Pope Brown; her husband Clyde McDonald "Mack" Cashion; her brothers, Thomas and Homer Lee Brown; and her grandsons, Christopher Issac Cashion and Stephen Jacobsen Cashion.
She is survived by: her close friend Adriano DePina, Jr.; her sons, Boyce L. Cashion (Diane), Jeffrey Scott Cashion (Kristina) and Allen James Cashion; her brother Lawrence Ray Brown; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Cashion, Jr., Taylor Cashion, Olivia Cashion and Cole Cashion.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (19600 Zion Ave, Cornelius, NC 28031). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Mt. Zion Community Cemetery (19600 Zion Ave, Cornelius, NC 28031).
