He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Maddux and Nell Maddux of Denver, N. C.. He is survived by: his wife Heidi of Cornelius, N. C.; his son Daniel Maddux of Titusville; his stepdaughter Carola Casey of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Jessica Bertrand (William) of Covington and Shane Maddux (Charlene) of Cocoa Beach, FL.; his stepgrandchildren, Kyler, Katie and Kelby Casey of Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Alayna Golden, Baylee, Braxton Bertrand, Emilia and Eliana Maddux; his sister Judi Maddux; and his nephew Shane Rogers of Zebulon.
