Leslie Goodnow Schwartz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Goodnow Schwartz of Cornelius, North Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Goodnow and Elizabeth Goodnow; her sisters, Susan Begel, Betsy Goodnow and Chrissy Goodnow; and her stepson Louis Schwartz.

She is survived by: her husband Lou Schwartz; her children, Kristen, Peter (Liliane), Jamie (Yen), Mark Harrington (Ada), Craig Schwartz (Beth), Todd Harrington (Lisa), Lisa Williams (Wes) and Jill Oliver (Craig); her brother Bill Goodnow (Lilly); and her grandchildren, Jake, Benjamin, Samantha, Dakota, Sheila, Damian, Victor and Lauany. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Leslie's memory to Hospice House Huntersville.
